Weather Policy
The Hotline will be updated every
half hour stating the status of the game fields starting at 8am on Game Day.
Use your best judgement coaches.
We encourage
you to play if possible, it may be
difficult to reschedule your game as the season gets colder.
Instruct Your team to call you
if there is a question of weather.
For any rescheduled games please notify
for cancellation of referees and reschedule of referees.
Cold Weather:
Wear shirts and pants under uniform (optional).
Hats
and gloves without zippers or hard pieces are allowed.
Rain Showers:
U8 thru U19 must show up to game fields.
U8 thru
U19 and above will play in the rain.
If there is thunder and lightning seek shelter.
After 25 minutes if the storm has not passed NMCYS
will
call the game.
U6 Division coaches will call the hotline for a field conditions status.
U6 Division coaches must call the other
coach to decide whether to
play the game or reschedule.
We recommend playing if at all possible, it may be hard to reschedule the game
later.
U4 Division
The Soccer Hotline will update its message to
let you know if U4 games are officially cancelled.
If there is
no message, games are still on.
U14 thru U19 Divisions will play in rain.

from anywhere, who would like to be involved in soccer.
